What is the best thing about being a PA for Outsourcery?
I get to work with people who are really passionate about their businesses. From Photography to Coaches, the tasks are always varied and you are always challenged.
How long have you worked with Outsourcery for?
Since the end of November 2016.
What are your key strengths that your pride yourself in?
Happy to learn new skills; Flexible; Well-rounded skill set (constantly developing)
When delegating, what do you think is the most important thing to remember?
Clarity is Key! Make sure you have looked at the task from all possible angles and handed over as much information as possible. Always make a point of checking in to see whether the other person has a good grasp of the task. Never assume anything,
What are some of the challenges you have faced as a PA?
Feeling like there aren’t enough hours in the day. Sometimes your clients all want things urgently and it can be a challenge to balance the work and get things done.
How did you overcome those challenges?
Being able to delegate tasks out to other colleagues is brilliant and can really make your deliverables seem manageable.
What is the best part of your day?
Catching up with awesome colleagues!
What is the best advice you can give to any other PA?
Don’t be afraid to put your hand up if things feel like they are getting on top of you. Your team really is here to help.
How do you keep track of all of your work?
Usually one of the many Asana boards that my clients use.
What is your favourite meal of the day, and why?
Definitely dinner – usually accompanied by a glass of wine?
